Sports and camp physicals help determine whether it is safe for your child to participate in a sport, camp, or activity. Sports physicals are usually required to start a new sport or season and to participate in extracurricular activities at school. Similarly, a camp physical is often required to attend camp. These pre-participation physicals are an important medical check-in and ensure that your child can safely join in on planned activities.

Sports and camp physicals include a review of your child’s medical history and a comprehensive physical exam. Our provider will ask about prior injuries and illnesses, and medical conditions that run in your family. During the physical exam, we check your child’s height, weight, blood pressure, eyes, ears, throat, abdomen, heart, and lungs.
